TES was pretty much solid piff. You listened to that album with your crew when it first came out and everyone was like 'wow this is great, this is certified piff' The only thing that ages better than this album is maybe wine? Idk, but what I do know is on this particular album, Eminem, aka Marshall Mathers, aka slim shady, aka the goat, was out to prove something not only to us, his adoring fans, but to himself as well. This is just speculation but its on point. Anyway im out
TES was his last good album lol i love the fact dudes just hate on Em cuz he was white and once the most popular/skilled (at the same time) rapper...yall r too much man outside of the 90s when was the last rapper the most popular and skilled at the same time...obv excludin marshall cant wait to see the wayne/drake/jay answers lol
just read this kids recent posts...what i learned is that MGK is one of his favorites and he's really against reverse racism. and now he has the AUDACITY to call eminem show a classic? lemme guess, macklemore is dope?
See this is why it's useless to say anything even remotely negative about eminem because dudes will accuse you of hating him because he's white
Was that the album with Cleaning Out My Closet? If so, it wasn't that bad, compared to the rest of his trash discography. Dude has one of the worst discographies for a so called GOAT contender. He's always been and will always be overrated as fukk
meh, this album is good in my opinion. his album after this though, encore, was sooooo trash, I've never listened to a Em album in its entirety since.
Eminem Show is the last solid record by him from back then. Encore I try my best to forget about. Slim Shady LP & Marshall Mathers LP all day though.
Too many legends have consigned Em and pretty much said he was the illest rapper we've ever seen when he was in his prime. fukk yall opinion Sent from The Bushes using Tapatalk 2
It's amazing for somebody who's name i haven't heard out loud in a decade how much em touched ya'll hearts white pac.
I remember in high school how many Eminem stans were off the deep end for this album, some friends of mine, I never fukked with Em, but his lyrics and flow were undeniable on this one, and I preferred the production on this, and 'Encore', too his earlier work. But, yeah, outside maybe a few tracks this wasn't some shyt I was that into, 'Sing For The Moment', 'Superman', 'Til I Collapse', all of that yelling and nonsense. Probably one of the guys best work. I can imagine it's more then a little dated these days. It had it's moment in time, if you were 15/16 when this dropped, you will remember it a little more fondly, the way I do. It was a big moment for the genre when Em came out that summer, I was more into Styles P debut, 'The True Meaning', 'Aziatic' and any new Jay material in summer 2002, but Em had it's place.
