yeah the only reason we got kyrie was cuz of his family ties in NJ plus he thought tsai/nets would’ve been a pushover compared to dolan/knicks and he could do whatever he wanted which he tested out the gate when he disappeared for like a week or two and nash couldn’t even speak for his whereabouts…and KD only came cuz of kyrie…seems like the organization is back to being completely irrelevant again and for a long time

KD will never play with Kyrie again. He’s being PC but you know he won’t say it in public. That dude literally asked for a trade after Kyrie opted in because he knew shenanigans were about to ensue after he didn’t get the max extension.

You want him to play with nobody?
The nets should have just bit their tongue and waited could have still got a haul for durant in the summer, and sign and trade kyrie after the season as well but at least you'd have the chance of competing this year. Now you're going to at best make the play in and be bounced in a game or two depending on seeding and end up with a middle draft pick.

What’s nobody? He left a solid playoff team behind. Obviously not contenders this year but we could’ve added some pieces around him in the off-season. Dude just wants to cakewalk to a championship.
Maybe they could have in theory but you have to ask yourself if you want to keep selling off more assets if you’re Brooklyn. Tsai also probably wasn’t wild about the luxury tax bill given what had happened to that point.
Should have just paid Kyrie and traded him later if you wanted so you could at least have a run this year.

Kyrie kinda forced it by threatening to sit out the rest of the year.
If not for that, Brooklyn wouldn't have done anything.
