The way I see it, a team this good nearing the end of a regular season is going to try to give its stars as much rest as possible. Its similar to managers of baseball teams being strict about pitch counts.

Next season, IMO its a given that Spo is gonna give his stars games off throughout the season to preserve them for the stretch run. SA will continue to do the same with Duncan and Parker....The Lakers if they get off to a good start will do the same with Kobe IMo when he comes back.
