Monta elli have it all. Dat Montaball.

Dude could ball tho....he coulda been a great 6th man on a championship team. He could flat out get bukkets...one of the best 2nd rounders ever.

My nikka was delusional with some of his self assesment tho

Well they’re both undersized guards that do THE EXACT SAME THING. Of course they wouldn’t be able to coexist without a good system like Mr Pringles’. Damien Lillard is in that position now. His team drafted a player that does the same thing he does. Granted, CJ was the best player available at the time (Giannis could of easily been a bust) so the Blazers has no choice. I’m not mad at Monte saying what he said in hindsight.

KD still a hoe ass nikkas though :pacspit:

I thought Monta's issue was that it required him to match up with 6'5-6'8 wing players. It was interpreted as a knock on Curry but I don't think it was.

He’d be perfect off the bench especially during his prime on a harden/ginobli tip
leading the second unit , I just don’t think his ego would’ve allowed him to do it.

Jr Smith won a sixth man of the year award , i’m sure he would’ve been in the runnings also
a coach that would give him minutes to go crazy is rare*

There was more to this. He was just so fed up with the front office and Nellie at that point he was on some :pacspit: shyt. They fined him 3mm of his salary for the moped thing then Nellie and Larry Riley tell him he’s their guy in the off-season then go on and draft curry. While curry turned out to be a better player, I really don’t fault Monta at all over this. The organization was a shyt show.

Monta was right. Its hard to win with such an undersized backcourt.

Only team that worked for was the Pistons with Zeke(6 foot) and Joe Dumars(6'3") and that worked in a different era and bc Dumars was a tuff nikka who was strong enough to chec big guards
