Before the clowns come in here to praise their daddy, I want it to be known that this was a bipartisan bill.

For the slow ones… Republicans AND Democrats wrote this bill and voted in favor of it.

It don't matter. A Republican wrote it and anything Republicans do on TLR is a beacon of order, nobility and manhood.

If Joe Biden signed this bill it'd be a resounding chorus of "but where's the 70 million for FBAADOSB1!!!? Benign neglect!!!" Led by Tariq Nasheed tweets.

Wow that was quick. And you were very humble in owning your politically biased hypocrisy. Not bad. There's hope yall can be good faith debaters after all.
You're too hot and bothered to defend your demoncrat overlords. Bump both these parties.

If giving money is considered “empty pandering” then what do you consider reparations?

Because none of that money is "exclusively for African Americans" which is the TLR golden standard of any government spending. If its for everyone than it doesn't help African Americans at all...unless it's some yee haw conservative "I support President Trump" Republican pandering to "fathers." Then yall fall in line and suddenly government spending on symbolic gestures is great. Yall can't even hide your bias for this party.

That 70mil for promoting "fatherhood" is nothing compared to the millions Democrats across the country pour into programs that actually alleviate poverty for black families. But like I said ima let you and the rest of TLR MAGAset cook and suddenly dance around for symbolic gestures aimed at "fathers" after turning your nose up at a whole entire black Supreme Court justice. shyt is pure comedy nowadays.

You're too hot and bothered to defend your demoncrat overlords. Bump both these parties.

You're one of the main "both sides" trolls that loves to pigeon hold "liberals" to laws that are "only for African Americans" no matter how heavily their policy positions largely favor us. Now you're here passively praising Republican money for "fatherhood."

What more is there for me to say or defend? The hypocrisy and bias around here is glaringly obvious. It's clear yall just favor the Republican Party.

:yeshrug:

I'd rather folks just own it than pretend they have equal criticism and expectation of "both these parties."

Keeping my overhead low, and my understand high

The looney left’s reaction…:scust:

It's not a "Fatherhood bill".

They included "fatherhood" initiatives in our regular degular Child Welfare bill that always passes unanimously because you can't vote against children.

"The new law, which takes effect July 1, was passed unanimously in both chambers. It sets aside $60.2 million for programs to encourage fathers to be present in the home or provide male role models and mentors for at-risk youth, especially boys. Of that, $27.6 million will be issued by the Department of Children and Families (DCF) to nonprofits to expand mentorship programs, projects that “address the comprehensive needs of fathers,” and parenting education for new fathers.

For an organization to be eligible for the grants, which will range from $25,000 to $250,000, it must serve boys ages 13-18 living in “underserved communities,” recruit and train mentors and certify the number of individuals they’ll serve. Groups can only receive one grant every three years, must submit reports on the grants to DCF, and submit to training in nonprofit management by DCF within six months of receiving the grant."

Gov. DeSantis signs bill promoting fatherhood programs

I remember initially they were discussing it because in the law being Blak made you "special needs". I'm assuming they've changed that language but I'd have to check
