You are buying into the rhetoric in public too much. The debt ceiling is used as a political tool to play a game of chicken with defaulting on our outstanding debt. Everyone knows it must be raised because it would be financially catastrophic if it were to happen.i just don't understand republicans... when obama wanted to raise the debt ceiling, republicans said it was the end of mankind as we know it... every child in the future would carry trillions upon trillions of dollars of debt on their shoulders.... now all of a sudden it's a no brainer to raise the debt ceiling... the republicans are raising the debt ceiling above what even obama raised it, even though they said that was way way way way way way too much then.... now it's not too much to raise it even higher....? i have no respect for republicans, because they are not principled at all.....
How is the photographer just hiding in the bushes at the White House taking photos of the inside with Prez right there![]()
The Fed rebates over 90% of interest payments that the treasury makes on its bond portfolio, which was purchased on the secondary market from existing investors. The payments must be made no matter who owns the notes. It is beneficial for the government for the Fed to own a larger share of outstanding debt.this "debt ceiling"...who does america owe this money to?
the fdrl rsrv is printing up money that our govn. borrows.
the FR is not a fed org, it is a private org that is run by anon people.
every dollar that the US spends has to be paid back the the FR....with interest...every dollar.
china buys this debt and get's repaid with interest.
i wish i was smart enough to figure this shyt out to the end game.
it just does not seem sustainable.
