I keep hearing people say, "Never negotiate with a terrorist". I disagree, sometimes it is necessary. Negotiate with the terrorist, get what you want, then kill the terrorist afterwards. Concede some money for the wall (and again even the 5.7 billion isn't enough to build the wall) in exchange for the end of the shutdown and key progressive platforms, then work your ass off to make sure Trump loses in 2020. It is what is is.

You still are going to deal with Republicans in Congress like Cruz or someone like him who thinks this is a good strategy to get concessions by kicking DACA a year or two more in exchange for whatever the next Tea Party or MAGA form takes.


All those progressive policies like the green deal or single payer are coming up.
