His R senators and R majority leader Turtle face carried his water. The reprecusions from this go around is going to make round 2 unlikely.

Not to mention Ds have already said that there will be no wall money in the border security discussions the next few weeks.

I get what your saying but the president has the power to enact the shutdown on his own just like last time...that's the PROBLEM... the only way you could possibly override a 2nd shutdown would be to sue him and who knows how long that's gonna take...

I don't know what else you wanted Dems to do. If they said no, it'd be on them. He took a massive L and mainly stopped the shutdown to do his little speech and not kill the superbowl. Also, LGA shutting down forced his hand. As for the temporary... if he tries this again he'd tank his approval ratings even lower.

Nothing the Democrats do is good enough for certain trump supporters on here. They act like they care but downplay everything the left does.
