Yall laughing but that's all he needed to spin it into a win, i said it before even if they gave him a penny he's gonna brag and boast about how he "won" to his supporters that's all they needed too. Even getting partial funding is better for him imo, now we get to hear this dummy campaign about keeping him in for another 4 years so he can get "the job done "

Exactly. I'm disappointed because (as usual) the Democrats gave up too much, regardless of Trump being unhappy with it.
Pelosi did well not to give in during the shutdown but I don't see why they even gave him the 1.3b. :hhh:

You all are going to have to really start processing the information you're taking in. [/Nap Rant]

That $1.3B was already appropriated for BORDER SECURITY, it is not entirely for a wall or fencing. It was for what was assessed as needed improvements outlined by border patrol. You all are falling for the same thing you believe Trump supporters will believe. You're buying into Trump's rhetoric when in reality he's getting overall money that happens to include funding for fencing to fortify certain low profile spots on the border.

Well, obviously I haven't seen the bill but there are are conflicting reports on what exactly is in it, however as far as I can tell it's not just improving current infrastructure, it's for 55 miles of new walls/barriers/whatever - Republicans and Democrats dispute what’s in border funding deal

One point of disagreement between Republicans and Democrats is whether the border security funding covers a “wall” — Trump’s signature campaign promise.

The deal provides $1.4 billion that will fund approximately 55 new miles of border barriers. The amount remains far below Trump’s $5.7 billion demand in wall funds, which led to a 35-day partial government shutdown in December and January.

Under the agreement, the barriers must adhere to currently deployed designs, including the “steel slats” that Trump has said could be acceptable for security.

However, the proposal excludes the possibility of building wall based on any of the eight prototypes commissioned by Trump and built in the San Diego area.

Whether lawmakers describe the current barriers on the border as “wall“ or “fencing” often falls along party lines — and that trend continued Tuesday.

A Republican summary of the deal said it allocates the money “for the border wall.” But Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.) said in a written statement that the proposal would pay for “fencing in Texas“ that equaled the funding boost provided last year.

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell took a third path and said the funds would pay for “new border barriers“ when touting the agreement on the Senate floor Tuesday.

Personally I'm just not convinced we need to be spending 1.4 billion (or whatever the amount is) on a wall/fencing/border because of a crisis Trump made up, or that Dems got anything of significance from the deal. Especially with the "wall" being unpopular in the first place.

And honestly it just irritates me that they're giving Trump a chance to spin this as a win to his supporters, even if it really isn't.

Trump has already spinned it and been saying the wall is being built. Dems are like ok, u have your wall now. Ok.

So now it's just on to the next chapter of the Trump shyt show, we will see what scandal, issue and controversial shyt about to pop off by months end. This shut dont stop and this shyt down wall stuff will be forgotten about.

All he had to do was shut the fukk up and he would've gotten the 5 billy last year. This dude is legitimately retarded.

Dont forget The Freedom Crackers making Trump shoot down a Deal that had the 25 Billion for The Wall in exchange for Permanent DACA:russ:

Ya'll think this holds up in the Supreme Court? Chief Justice Roberts will be the deciding vote. You know where the other 8 stand.
