Ask him how many people he’s hired to be part of his administration without a degree.

Or what would he do, if his son refuses to get a formal education past high school...

These dudes need to be targeting the outrageous pricing of Colleges and Universities, and forcing the administrations of these institutions and banks to lower the tuition rates. Its gonna collapse, and it will. be. very. very. ugly.

Right message wrong messenger. He understands his base tends to be less educated and believe colleges turns people into “leftists” so he’s just playing his base. Just like trump and any other politician.

I wonder if his son wanted to drop out of Harvard and become a plumber would he feel the same way?:unimpressed:
To be fair, in his speech he never mentioned any leftist bias at universities. He kept it straight economically based.

That’s a bit harsh.

I understand why many avoid going to college, but at least get into the trades or something legit. These dudes just be playing PS5 with CoD, listen to drill music, being shirtless with they homies all day :dame: , and just plain wasting away.

Its gonna get really grim in another decade

I mean obviously the dumber the populace the better it is for guys like him
College is not making anyone "smarter". I went to a pretty decent state school and ppl take the classes and do enough to get their degree for their future profession. Outside of that they don't know much. I've got friends and family that are doctors, PHDs, CPAs, Masters. Ppl who have degrees from Ivies, Harvard Business School. Outside of their specific profession they don't really know shyt. And many of them even within their profession their shaky. This school system from elementary to college is a game of doing the work provided, submitting it on time and memorization. Much of the material taught is essentially a big history lesson. I say that to say trades are no different than what these people are getting degrees in. You're mostly specializing in one specific area of expertise. The only difference is trades aren't wasting 4-8 years of your life.

People without college degrees are more likely to vote Republican.
Thats the only reason they talk shyt about college, even though the vast majority of Republican politicians went to really good schools.

"I love the poorly educated".
- Donald Trump
I don’t think it’s that deep. For instance, Many in STEM aren’t really politically leftists themselves. Even in the Bay Area, many of those white collar workers(white males, Asian males etc) are moderate at most. Plenty of blue collar folks vote left in these areas. Many highly educated ppl are moderate or right of center. Education doesn’t automatically mean one is going to vote left.
in state tuition at UF and FSU is less than 7k.
you can make that working in the summer, not to mention at least the pell grant (not a loan) if you have financial need.
if you believe that you HAVE TO be in debt to go to school, the yeah, maybe you shouldn't waste space there :mjlol:
He mentioned Florida having the lowest tuition. But he also pretty much said, why waste space? He’s right, and so are you, why should someone waste space when they can learn a trade and make decent money? We need ppl in the trades. We need builders.

unless you are telling me that you have to go into debt to go to school in any other state, i'm not sure what you are rebutting from my post

Yes... you have to go into debt to go to shcol 90 percent of the time... hence why student loan debt is over a trillion dollars..... but you can go ahead and go into specific detail how 90 percent of college enrollees across the country could have avoided taking on debt.... For you to use Florida University as the lone example was not only disingenuous, but borderline dishonest...

you can't say that unless you say that all trade schools are cheaper and more effective at getting a graduate a job, plus a job that will get you higher pay than you would with the same college credentials :yeshrug: i looked into some florida "trade schools" and they are double the cost of state school so you are saving absolutely NOTHING while getting weaker credentials

according to the tuition numbers nobody "has to" go into debt to pay for college. "choosing" to is a different story and we know most american's don't make the best financial decisions.... like going to a school you can't afford and taking loans you don't need to take, when there is probably a state school you can afford to go to even if you have to work part time to pay for it without taking a loan :unimpressed:

but tbh i wouldn't even call taking a loan for college a "bad" financial decision. it should pay off somehow in the long run if you play it right. but you certainly don't "have to" do that

There's been no uptick in trades that I've seen.

I recruit automotive technicians and talk to tech schools frequently. They wish they were popping like people think they are.

fukk automotive school. You don't get paid shyt unless you really bust yo ass.

have you read the posts in this thread? we got an electrician saying he can't even find any apprentices, and they make decent money in any state

trades will always be in demand and not everyone is suited for college. people always need shyt to be built and fixed.

College isn't always about money.
