Just looking at these Taskforce they look heavy duty durable but I don't think they match the aesthetics like you said of a fine AVIREX.

Those are not the best ones.
I have never seen any internet photos of the higher end taskforce jackets.
Surprised i even found the photos i found.

Plus this jacket was from a more fitted era.
before baggy.
Was baggy.

These are from the task force over the troop sweatsuit era tho.
They had a wave too.
Just not the premium taskforce that cost 1500 to 2000 back then in like 86, 87.

North Face never went out of style as far as I know, not in the Tri State area at least but they’re quality coats for the winter. I’ve noticed that Avirex is making a come back. I wanted one of them big leather joints when I was in middle school but my parents was not going for it.

Of course not lol, AVIREX's were going for 750 - 800 minimum unless you got the half leathers. Even still the half leathers were a solid 450 at least.

Here is not a leather thing anymore it is just trench like coats and snorkel jackets and bubbles. Mostly Northface, Canada Goose and Stone Island. I do not like Canada Goose too much I havent seen much I like from them.

All in mad colorways. Even though i wore black everyday since 2003 tho. Past a few xmas's. Where i rock white. Either my white bubble oe my white fur and white fur vest.
I got a gray chenille cashmere fur with a grey fur vest.

I flip daily coats.
If it gets cold.

My one love is thumbcuffs tho.

won't catch me without monkey cuffs.

A nikka monkey cuff everything.
no monkey cuffs. No buy. Unless it is a fur or leather. All my other outerwear jackets and coats gotta have thumbcuffs.
I may be done buying gear in this gen.

Plus looking to sell my vintage nineties gear from the late nineties. When everyone had a brand era.

If I was to ever wear leather it would be the pilot joints but without the fur I need leather collars too. But I find leather too restricting and limited with what you can wear. You can not go close fitting it's always a loose to baggy fit that goes great with leathers. It's not about those hipster skinny jeans with the madonna zip leathers loll.

If this had gleam on it, it would be nice. It looks too worn out for me but I like the whole style of it.

That particular piece is on Amazon for 125 but I am thinking what type of stealth is in a leather going for only 125? Not even a secondhand joint.

It is just the lo wear wra jackets i feel in love with feom nasa. To the olympian and p wing era. Just hold a certain place in my heart. I never migrated over in outerwear.

i discovered the orvis store underage. That i would frequent the store so much.
Tbat eventually underage on saturday. They would pass out free shots instore. That underage. They thought i was over 21. I would be in there getting fukked up on saturday underage. Off their instore whisksy. Orvis was lit.

So i never migrated to northface.
like i should have.
i felt to down for orvis. Plus that walk to northface was a bytch. Off six shots of whiskey underage.

orvis was like costco on samples. Except alcohol.

fun times. Back when i used to drink.

Maybe that is whh i bought my orvis goretex foldable fisherman coat for 700.

Later i got pinched in it.
