A lot of HBCU's are going through the same thing, you just don't hear about it because Grambling is a big name and has tradition. The players refusing to take the field brought light on the situation as well.

Prairie View A&M's football team in the 90's lost 80 games in a row. Some schools have cut athletics all together.

its not just HBCUs.

A lot of these private liberal arts colleges are going to get shut down. College is too expensive and those schools are not viable. Enrollment went down for the first time in 40 years last year.

A lot of HBCUs are going to be up against it. I know Grambling is a state funded school, but their budget keeps getting cut under Republican governors.

not to pile on, but this is why I don't understand why y'all continue w/ this "the top black athlletes need to go to HBCU's" stuff. Do you realize how LOOOONNNNGGGG it would take for that to make a difference. Like literally it would take 10-15 years for it to make a difference, and ur asking young black kids to completely put their NFL dreams in jeopardy, and that's assuming every hbcu administration is on the up & up.

yeah, a school like Morris Brown in Atlanta shouldnt even be open. NO accreditation and a small population.
