Last year Pusha T, Kendrick, Cole, etc dropped dope records and Macklemore won. It is simple, award shows cater to what the mainstream (white people) like Every time a black artist wins in a category of greater acclaim, they had major crossover success. Mumford and Sons won album of the year a few years ago and no one under 30 had heard that shyt. It is crazy how every time black people are upset about something the immediate response of so many black people is to turnaround and point out our own supposed fukk ups.
