What you're witnessing is people's reactions to how a large percentage of Nas stans have acted since the inception of this board. These guys brought it on themselves. It was almost hard to look at Nas in the crowd get his hopes up though. Oh well, :manny:

Naw.. It's actually a reaction that outside of Kendrick Lamar there hasn't really been any new artists or music to get excited about in the past 5 years...

The front page of these forums stay littered with Big, Pac, Nas and Jay debates in 2013...

That should let you know that the impact of these newer artists hasn't been big enough to hold anyones attention or spark any new conversations or debates...

You think in 1994 people were still arguing about Kool G Rap vs L.L. Cool J? No.. Because they were too busy listening to new classics every month...

This is all a result of an era of sh1tty uninteresting music...

Two 40 year olds are still the top subject of conversation and nobody gives a fukk what the 20 year olds have to say...

nikka you acting like I lost some REAL LIFE money get the fukk outta here. I voted all that coli cash as a symbolic way of supporting my favorite artist. I'd rather put fake irrelevant useless coli cash and throw my support behind an artist and album I truly believe in, because his music is the best representation of the culture. My faith in Nas making great music is in no way shattered by a Grammy snub, it's simply a reconfirmation that the Grammys still have yet to recognize true quality Hip Hop.

That's the problem with some of y'all nikkas. You can't wait to clown and tear down one of Hip Hop's premier statesmen with this "Nas Lost" movement and can't recognize what a travesty that it is that the industry STILL will not see for to recognize Hip Hop of substance. Daughters as a SONG is much deeper, better written, and executed than nikkas In Paris, and this is no disrespect to Jay-Z or Kanye but it just is what is, The wrong message about the culture is being sent to the masses. And I don't like that shyt ONE bit, Nas didn't lose last night, Hip Hop as a genre lost by not being properly respected or represented....
