I agree and imo the people that felt he would win were delusional... I always felt that Jay Stans were worse than Nas Stans...But after the reaction of the Hennesy endorsement and last night's Grammys I can no longer pretend that both sides aren't equally full of irrational and dishonest zealots...
Which group angers you the most just depends on what bias you bring to the conversation..
And make no mistake you have a right to gloat today as a Jay Stan..Just don't pretend it comes from a place of righteous indignation.. You just fukk with him more...

He still the Goat though and Life Is Good was a career defining album, Nas proved that he's got many many more years of musical relevance in him. I'll be right back here next year or whenever the next time he drops an album rooting for him all over again...
This was just a temporary setback, nothing for Nas fans to hang their heads over. We went hard for our favorite artist and it is what it is....

Na on some real shyt I'm a huge Nas fan and even though I wanted him to win to finally get his shine. I'm still 
he gave us a great album last year and dude was everywhere. Usually he drops 2 singles and disappear but he was really pushing the envelope last year. Hopefully we can get some new material this year. Also I just would like to point out Nas handles the media, critics, and fans well. If this was another rapper who put out that album it would be hailed and praised. But everything Nas releases will always be compared to his earlier work. Everyone needs to just enjoy the music. Nas

True indeed, however I don't feel like any "Jay Stan" is in a position to gloat right now, it really doesn't have anything to do with Jay. Yeah Jay won multiple Grammys but the gloating for those is just stale at this point.
The fact of the matter is that Nas was robbed in the album category, Drake did not put out a better album in my opinion and its not a good look for Hip Hop as a whole. You gotta admit though, if this forum wasn't full of "irrational and dishonest zealots" it wouldn't be nearly as entertaining. And right now its hella entertaining watching the Nas Stans squirm, see post #188 for reference.
