Oh that would make up the majority of GT heads. I too grew up on GT. GT2 is like the pinnacle of the genre for realmaybe. the only forza i played was horizon at my cousin's and i wasn't that impressed. maybe i'm just too loyal to the gran turismo brand too.
Its been all downhill from that game until Forza added new features to make the genre fun again.
GT3/4 were more visual upgrades, but the gameplay remained almost identical which has been the knock on GT
Forza, they had a much more advanced AI, more advanced everything eventually. What made them the clear easy winner was the online integration. You could make cars, then sell them online. There was a community that made custom paint jobs. shyt was deep and epic. Here is some WEAK ones...
And then here is how good they got once Forza 3 came around...
Now with Forza 5, the racers will control like real people because of Drivatars

And finally. You said you only played Forza Horizon. Excellent game, but its not a SIM racer like GT/Forza 1-5
So if you a real SIM racing head, try the real forza. Last thing I forgot to mention. It has different difficulty levels that is done smartly so even a novice can learn how to get better. GT, the ONLY way to get better is to enjoy repetitiveness

Feature isn't even out yet, and you think it'll be flawless/fun/etc. But who is buying GT6 reallyfeature isnt even out yet and they already mad![]()

Why is it cool to stay a gen behind on sony?

They did the same thing in Forza BEFORE GT had there lil bullshyt. But thats not important.Theyve taken people that have mastered GT and put them in real LIFE races, and they performed extremely well. Forza is just an arcade game.
You saying Forza isn't comparable from a SIM standpoint? I guess if you didn't know about Forza you could say that
Thanks for clearing that up
