I got to about 8th place and the rain started so I switched my tires going into the 4th lap. I switched to soft tires around lap 8 and I was in 2nd place. The car ahead of me did a pit on the final lap and I cruised to the finishI did it on easy

Stick to the money grind methods I posted here. It's not hard to make a lot of money quickly. This guy has a great page dedicated to the game.
I came in 9th place on the 2nd race, and earned 300,000 credits.

I had to strategies but to be honest. It was a heavy rain in the race that I came in 1st. All of the CPU cars started tail spinning and pit stopping multiple times because of the rain.
