I pre-ordered it on amazon because of all the extras 
This is pretty much Polyphony's last chance though to get me at full price though. I haven't nearly enjoyed Gran Turismo since Microsoft start putting out Project Gotham Racing and Forza.
DiRT crushed the rally scene since Colin McRae DiRT 2...that damn game is almost perfect.
PGR was a great mix of arcade/sim...I wish it would come back
Forza is the best sim and Forza Horizon 2 is probably my favorite racing game of all time.
The gaming world needs another great gran turismo and need for speed underground 3.

Other franchises have improved significantly while Gran Turismo feels old and stale at times. Seriously there isn't one thing GT does anymore that is considered best in it's class anymore. The last thing they were holding on to was graphics and even that seems to have gone away.no clue why people are so down on GT nowadays. knick pick every little thing in trailers

Since they are really pushing the fact that this can lead to a racing career they should have the helmet cam and VR like Project CARs

All the people complaining were never real GT fans anyway fukk em. The racing community is exited and says everything has been improved. Also the only racing game that looks better is Driveclub which is 30fps and also on the marvelous PS4. Can't wait to play GT in Neo mode

People tend to forget this game is built from the ground up with VR in mind on a PS4. I can't wrap my head around about the graphics complaints. Full sim controls, tire wear, damage, no ABS or anything. I never play with any assists.
What about the PS1 era sound effects?
Those hand held Hoovers sound just as authentic as the year they made them.

This is a prelude for GT7 in 2018...if it does well. Could be the end if the series though, you are right.
Sells too well for it to go away, but we just have to acknowledge that it's not the premier racing game anymore. Really hasn't been in over 10 years tbh.
Debate was really over after 2009 imo.
