imagine the message the country will be sending them if they retain power after all this out in the open fukk yous they've been sending. they're not hiding anything behind duplicitous language. truly interesting times.
i am interested in seeing them attempt to do this. I don't think they will be successful, but maybe it will wake more people up to what the RNC really is about.

I’ve seen reports where getting rid of SNAP can really disrupt the economy and supply chain on top of that not that you really need additional negatives when you’re talking about the difference between people being able to eat or not.
They are messing with shyt they don't understand, the cascade of ill effects will be severe: crimes, malnutrition, less disposable incomes for people on the edge, etc. Only a wicked heart could come up with such an idea. SNAP's are peanuts for the government fiscally but a a lifeline for the poor in this country. They are no jobs and they want to take away the little insurance low income folks have against complete penury :pacspit...Interestingly the advocates and wonks behind much of the anti welfare crusades from the late 80's early 90's have had a change of heart and now favor these programs.

Thread may be filled with lots of 'millennial irony' but they have to fund their tax cuts and their ideology only provides spending cuts as the answer. Which gives the democrats the opportunity to run an us vs them, rich vs poor campaign all the way into power. Obama did it in 2012, but it has to be divisive, filled with inaccurate information, throw grandma off the cliff type shenanigans for it to succeed.

Good. Let them do it, and watch all those white folks go crazy. They love saying black people are on food stamps buying steaks, and driving luxury cars, but don't mention white people living in poverty on welfare with a large collection of guns and ammo. They certainly can afford the guns, but need help buying food, and paying rent. Who's more dangerous when angry?
