they would have probably ruled the east, but saying they would have "easily" 2-3 titles is underrating how good Kobe and Shaq were together. thats who they would have had to face in the finals 3-5 times str8.
Timmy had already swept Shaq/Kobe the year before with an old David Robinson and old role players:yeshrug:

His starting backcourt was Avery Johnson and Mario Elie:usure:

Give him McGrady and possibly Grant, its a wrap out there. TD had no perimeter help in the early 2000's, that's why LA was able to beat the Spurs during their 3peat

Tim was going head up with Shaq/Kobe regardless year in and year out in the same conference with a lesser talented squad and still wound up with 2 rings back then

lol @ doc.... you couldn't just say something like, " yea that has typically been the team policy, but we can take a look at it and see if there is something we can do." :ehh:

if that is something he wanted to be firm on he could be firm after the ink is dry.

that squad wouldve dominated. with tmac and duncan maybe grant wouldve just been able to sit until he was actually 100% instead of coming back too early and fukkin his shyt up more.

Duncan on the Spurs already beat prime Kobe and Shaq in 1999 and 2003 :dahell:

Shaq came to training camp fat and out of shape that season. That's when he missed a shytload of games because his toe hurt and said "I got hurt on company time, so I'll heal on company time." The rest of the supporting cast was :flabbynsick: by that point.

Duncan, manu, and parker wasn't bad.

seeing how Tracy McGrady and Yao Ming turned out.....maybe tmac didn't have that
it factor.

Give me Duncan with manu, parker, and Gregg Popovich than tmac and at the time injury prone ass Grant Hill

The East was so weak though

Duncan and T-Mac would have ran the East

Shame what happened to Grant Hill.

I remember the height of his Pistons days. In like 3rd grade, my teacher had the biggest crush on him and watched every Pistons game and tried to stalk Grant Hill whenever he made an appaearence in DC. :mjlol:

Thats crazy

Jokes aside, the magic werent beating the Lakers and then they had to worry about the pistons once shaq and Kobe started started beefing. Duncan did the right thing by staying in San Antonio
