Only the Boozer part.

They'd be dealing Horford for a draft pick that Charlotte's trying to make crappy in 2 years (which could happen), a really good prospect that isn't exactly dying to come over yet, Chicago's pick which means nothing, and Boozer who has one year less on his deal, but he's a guy that you could scoop up just by letting Chicago amnesty him.

That's the point though. He thinks Ferry is just going to try and bottom out. With Horford they'd probably be too good to be a truly bad team. This wouldn't be a trade to try and make the team good now or anything. I'd do the trade if they were able to get some other young prospect from another team or something.

What he's saying is that what if they suck and Horford gets sick of it?

Jalen made a good point by saying there's something about a team wanting to make you the face of their franchise that makes you wanna see what happens.

They could get better deals for Horford that could still keep them competitive now and later, one I wish my GM had the balls to offer.
