I've shat on face Blandy over the past few years. His matches looked predictable, cookie-cut and he seemed disinterested. He is built as a heel, and is phenomenal at it (when he wants to be ie: this past Monday). His psychology is top notch in that role. Would never doubt his atheleticism, but it's when he wants to tap into it. He is crisp in everything he executes, such as his dropkick and super plexes especially. The Grantland portion Ed highlighted was dead on. Let him loose, he can show out without needing to be the subplot in this storyline against Bryan/Cena.

it just goes to show what happens when you get behind talent and push them and stick to that push instead of half assed 50/50 booking

orton has had 50/50 booking.

as a matter of fact,...people forget the top three finishes for Daniel bryan.
was the kendo stick lock finish over orton.
the way the E, just forgot their own continuity.
would have helped the db/orton wwe title feud more.

orton has really not won, many feuds this year.
which is why he was given the mitb.
as it played up the intrigue of him having the briefcase.
after orton definitely was a big part of 50/50 booking this year.
orton has not been dominant in a while.
that is also,..why him getting the strap makes sense.
given how much ache likes the guy.
