Lets be reality here. When that trade was made, CP3 was coming off knee problems in NOLA and EG had been relatively healthy up until that point.

Paul never relied on athleticism though. That knee injury should not have been a concern. Gordon was coming off an injury going into that offseason.

I still maintain that Lakers/Rockets/Hornets three-way deal was a better trade for Paul than what went through. :yeshrug:

Not this again. Hornets would have gotten older and added salary. Odom fell apart in Dallas, you think he would've showed up in New Orleans?:merchant: Same thing for K-mart who had basically quit on Houston. It was idiotic for NO to deal Paul w/o getting back another all-star with productive years left or young assets/picks.

:ohhh: @the way they listed mike beasley....:heh: :heh:

13. Cancer: three years, $18 million
Whoops, my bad — that was a typo. Let's try that again.

13. Michael Beasley: three years, $18 million
Much better. You don't need advanced stats to tell you that it sucks to have Michael Beasley on your basketball team. Heck, you don't even need normal stats. But this is funny: Phoenix gets outscored by 11.2 points per 100 possessions with Beasley and 2.8 points without him. In other words, they'd improve by 8.3 points per 100 possessions simply by taping him to a Gatorade bucket for three hours a night. Ladies and gentlemen, Michael Beasley!
:pachaha:
:to: I'm not sure if I could deal with Artest being on the Lakers for another season. :sadcam: These 4 seasons have felt like an eternity with him.
