One if Staying Tactic where they defend a female in heat and/or a valuable resource such as food or a waterhole or den
Other is "roaming tactic" where they put in work and fight other males to procreate with the females.
I imagine the flabby warthogs say fukk all that and employ the "Staying tactic"
