Dude was a multi-millionaire, he wasn't hurting for money. Sure more money is nice, but he's a basketball player first.

He went because he realized before we did that you never win a championship with Westbrook, he saw that they were so good that he'd never see another NBA Finals after having gone to one WITH Harden in the team.. so without it was not happening. And just bytched out and joined a team he could never beat anyway.

Whether you want to say he had that right (everybody has the right to break up with their partner but when a person decides to date their partner's best friend the day after their wedding.. we'd consider that person trash, they have that right BUT it's trash because of how relationships work), whether you want to say we're just jealous (no we're bored, we want COMPETITIVE sports.. not boring sports), whether you want to say he's the GOAT (he's not even close to LeBron in skills, let alone the 6-for-6 MJ or 5 rings Kobe) it don't matter. Real nikkaz know what it is, real sports fans know what it is.

Nowadays it feels like the only people still upset about this move are Bron fans. The rest of the NBA fans have either moved on or were never really that emotionally invested in KD's decision. Even OKC fans seem to have gotten over it for the most part.

I guess it really has to sting knowing that this move prevented Bron from winning 2-3 more rings because you can't just gang up on Steph anymore, knowing that Harrison Barnes is just going to brick wide open jumpshots.
