Great/Classic JRPG this Gen?!

Wish I liked Tales of Veseria like yall saying. I preferred Graces f more.

I been fukking with SRPG's a bit. Valkyria Chronicles, Disgaea, FF Tactcs, Fire Emblem. They're dope for what they are.

This gen ain't seen too many undeniable classics but the games mentioned thus far as all great.


That being said, Persona 4 getting high praise...yall ain't play Persona 3? The battle system is kinda fukked up with the AI being dumbass c00ns via the Tactics system, but that game paved the way for P4 and IMO got the better story and such.

Plus Persona 4 is only available on PS2 or the PS Vita via the Golden edition. I love P4G, but P3 so much better fam. You can DL that one and play it on PS3 too.

Vesperia has a better cast, probably the best main character in a Tales game and a better story than Graces F. granted i didn't play the future arc of F yet.

Graces F has better combat but to me is easier. there are several bosses in Vesperia that are brutal even when you're at the proper level.

Tales of Vesperia had a cool system n all and is atleast challengin if u play on hard..but the story is oo fckin cliche and the fckin characters are annoyin as sht

Lost Oddesey was my fave that I played..tho I aint have a ps3 or vita had 360 and u know 360 is when it comes to JRPGS

Yeah the combat is Graces felt waaaayy more fluid and was more enjoyable and that's it. Every character in it was pretty much This nikka Asbel was so bytchmade "I can't kill/protect my friend : ( : ( : (" The gameplay was the only reason I liked it so much. And the homie Richard was raw when you were able to fight as him


I fukked with the cast of Vesperia, but when I hated a character...I fukkin HATED them. Yuri and Raven stood out most to me. Karol was too fatherless for me. Repede tho he was such a gangsta. Held it all the way down no matter what.

Both stories were mediocre and cliche to me though, barely tolerable. Hopefully that Tales of Xillia story is dope(waiting for that localized to drop on the 6th ) cause the Tales of series gameplay is always dope.

You should know Tales games never have good stories. They're all about the anime trope cast and battle systems. Most peoples enjoyment of Tales games rest on how much of the cast they like. The only character I didn't really care for in Vesperia was Karol and I found him tolerable.

I can't name a character in Graces I actually liked other than Pascal. the main character was annoying maybe his brother but he was an ahole. The sickly chick was annoying. The older captain guy I barely remember.

For the record I heard Xillia's cast is one of the better of the series.

Lost Odyssey had those two kids in it and the villain was corny. I never made it past the second disc before I quit playing it.

Have you ever completed the 10th floor zhonecage, I been for on this floor for weeks and still can't beat the guy. One more thing didn't you find Richard to be major "suspect". I couldn't bare to see that guy in my lineup.
