There's so many articles like this right now. There's a strong feeling throughout the country that shyt is about to go down, economically and maybe militarily. We could make a new thread for every article like that one, and I'm sure each thread would include the argument about whether this is simply alarmist bullshyt from a sensationalist media or that there's substance to these anxieties, but I propose we just dump all this Apocalyptic piff right in one thread.

Place your bets. Is 2018 when The Big One hits? Will the oligarchs try to stretch it to 2020 so they can blame a Democrat president? Do human beings even have that kind of control over the 21st century marketplace? All hail, God Mammon?
