I have a sinking feeling about the future of the country.
I think the best outcome would be Trump and some Dem's both getting convicted. Nobody is willing to accept the results of the Mueller investigation. Its pretty fukking scary.

I doubt anythings going to happen. The wealth pie was a lot smaller during the French revolution, than compared to today. The with gap between French aristocrats and the serf class meant that the average person couldn't afford basic necessities. The average Frenchman was as malnourished as the average Ethiopian today, and we're several inches shorter than their modern descendants. They were often a poor harvest away from mass starvation and famine. Today', America's poor are overweight, minimum wage + welfare still makes them within the top 5 percent global elite.
The only situation I can envision where econonics become the driving force behind a possible proletariat revolution is if UBI isn't created once robots take 90 percent of the jobs.

I think people have to start realising that the prosperity of the new deal era was never going to last. It was only because of very unique circumstances which enabled the American middleclass to exist, including the rise of communism in many parts of the world which limited labour and business competition from the developing world and the fact that after WW2, America became a sovereign debt powerhouse, giving out loans and aid to nations who's industries were devastated as a result of WW2, which meant a steady stream of capital from much of Europe to American banks and national treasuries and favourable trade deals, powering the economic boom of the 50s.WW2 also destroyed American industries overseas competition and allowed America to become an unrivalled industrial powerhouse. Now the world is catching up and competition for resources and market share is intensifying. Asia is rising and becoming more assertive. Big Data, outsourcing and automation is making American workers less relevant and destroying whatever leverage and power they once had over the capitalist class. The elite no longer fear a communist takeover via the working class since communism has shown to be an utter failure and Soviets, were defeated in the cold war. Wealth Inequality is increasing across the world, and not just in America.
This is the new economic paradigm unfortunately. So Americans are going have to get used to it. There will a messy transition period, and I'm not sure Liberal America will survive this . Much of social glue which enabled America as a society to function when America was a poor Agrarian based society is gone as a result of corporate individualism and post modernism. Hence why we have so many social crises. Social cohesion is breaking down, America isnt even as bad compared to poor as fukk nations like those in SEA, who have better social cohesion and sense of identity and belonging. Social isolation is increasing. Americans just dont have what it takes to live in nation where your standard of living is comparable to that of Eastern Europe than a rich country like Australia. Americans might even have to back to traditional values.

Anyone who advocates for any race war in America and IS NOT white is a moron. These people think the 13% of the USA is black statistic is fake. Denver has like 2 million people and there's 5 black people there.
The thing that people who post at this site won't like me to say is that, while racism permeates everything in this country, the real war would be rural vs. urban/educated vs. uneducated. You can't actually get two white people in this country to agree on anything if only one has a college degree or only one lives in a rural area.

Problem is the French Aristocracy made sure the peasants "knew their place". Only way your life would change was to overturn the system. Americans get sold the "American dream" which is why some will support some shyt that would cripple them today but protect their future multi million dollar empire.
