That movie with that New York kid who had a girl, worked at a pizza place (I think his pops owned it) and then his dad dies. Slowly but surely he regresses to destitution, and everyone around him eventually gravitates away from him. His girl, his friends, ect. He turns to hustling for a second but decides to turn away from it when the shot caller puts him on the hit list. It was extremely realistic to me and for a low-budget black film I liked it. Shows you the real world and it motivated me to get on my grind.
