. Why does everybody get so tight about debates here? Neither of us have insulted each other and a disagreement of opinion on a matter like this is not enough to offend me. Anyways, Provident Hospital and Training School in Chicago was the first hospital owned and opened for black people and it was opened in 1892. I will agree with you that the quality of services was lower, due to more limited resources, past this point it's entirely speculation, because I can't really find any resources on this, yet if a black surgeon developed open heart surgery, I'm speculating that it would be available, albeit on a much more limited and inferior scale, to blacks.
