Big Daddy Kane. If you're old enough you know how sudden and dramatic his drop from the top was.
Dude this crushed my world as a young teen, never saw it before, didnt understand how it was possible...

Prodigy went from phantom raps to barely rhyming.
He always had an approach of skipping a bar every once in a while and just talking for effect... at one point he skipped the rhyming bar for like 2 years though... comedy, dude litterally just tried to talk tough on tracks without rhyming for a good while... WTF...

DMX is different, he didnt so much fall off because he lost his skills, he literally just feel victim to drugs and completely self destructed...

NOTHING COMES CLOSE TO WAYNE AND I MEAN NOTHING. Listen to Carter 2 and then Carter 4. nikka literally forgot how to rap. It's not even fukking close, you can't name a rapper that fell like he fell.

if we're talking in popularity 50 Cent's fall from grace was powerful to watch and to see him try all of the trends to hop back on were even more sad to watch.

That's a great question that should have been posed from the jump. We can all jump in here with our opinions on who fell off musically but no one can deny fall offs like 50 Cent, Nelly, DMX, or even BDK and Prodigy because I'm not saying it's all about sales either.

I don't think artists who still make an impact in the general public like Wayne, Eminem or Jay belong in this conversation. Just because any one of us don't like what they do, at least a million other people do like it, so it can't be called a "fall off".

Well not just rhyming. His shot became less well written. Gun love wasn't packed with dazzling rhymes but that was still prime p.
