The greatest would have to be Austin vs. Vince and his cronies. Appointment television every Monday at 9. I mean hell, they even went the shoot route in 2002.

It's Austin vs Vince but if we are talking ring based rivalries, I'd say the best rivalry and story arch ever is Hogan and Savage. The mega powers explode is the best single story ever and they went from friends to enemies to frienimies, to allies etc regularly.
Storyline wise it might of been but I can’t say they ever had even one good match

Austin vs Bret is one of my favorites. I also liked the fact that eventually Owen, Bulldog, etc got dragged into it.
