I don't agree but let's not act like Metro doesn't have a fire resume. Dude built from the ground with Travis Scott, Young Thug, Future, etc. - all the way to the shyt he's doing now. Dude is big time and he's still young (29 years old).

Dilla's innovations and skill makes him the best. When real drummers change the way they play their instrument you're on another level as a beat maker.
Any more info on this?

I have a huge blind spot regarding Dilla because I didn't like his beats that much but I'm aware of how revered he is for his influence

Who is Elliot?

I’ll take prime RZA over anyone else. I’ll get flamed for this but premier has a lotttt of generic “Preemo type beats” that are easily forgettable. Premiers highs are up there with anyone tho.

I'm not which is why I don't disagree with calling him the greatest. I probably like Primo's work more. I'm just saying Dilla is the best from a technical/innovative standpoint and doing things no one else could.

I'll let Premier explain it:

Dilla's a producer's producer which is why they all say that he was in his own world doing things they never imagined. Ask Pete, Alchemist, Kanye, Pharrell, etc they all admit it.

I see and respect what you saying and I get what Premier said too

I still think Premier is the greatest and the best hip hop producer

Top 2 will always be Dre and Primo, for me.

I got Q-Tip in my Top 3. And even with Tip, he could easily be Top 2 for me, as well. So it's always been those three when I speak about the best and greatest.

Busta took two weeks to write and record his verses to this beat because the kick drum is all over the place:

Delusional. You can't be #1 if you've used ghost producers.
