Rock is as close to flawless as they come. I think the only person who could do it all while being a star was macho man randy savage. Savage could hold it down with great mat skills, high flying, top promos and have great matches with heavyweights like hogan n warrior or smaller guys like steamboat.

Was heavyweight n intercontinental.

So am I. You have to look at the complete picture. You don't have to be a technical wizard to be considered a "great" wrestler.

If it was plainly technical wrestling as a selling point? Then Shawn, Razor, and Mysterio would be out of the tlak of being great all timers without question.

And I'll always say this about Mysterio..people can hate on him after he got older and had surgeries...but when he was going strong in the late 90s? Nobody could touch him except Eddie Guerrero. Not Michaels, Bret, Benoit..none of them. He was on another level and he was LEGIITMATELY innovative on some Great Muta and 2 Cold Scorpio level shyt. He was ultra special..the guy who REALLY got over on ring work and the bigger pops by the month proved it.

This thread is on point. The revisionist history when it comes to Dwayne's in-ring work on TSC is hilarious to me. People complain about Cena's 5 moves of doom, but that's the exact same shyt people were spewing about The Rock on the Internet back in 1999-2001. He's never really had a great, 5-star caliber match. On top of it, he's only really had a handful of 4-star matches. His charisma is top tier, but his in-ring work is mediocre. I thought his last run in-ring was probably the worst of his career. He was getting winded 5 minutes into the match. The terrible jokes/writing for him didn't do any favors either. There's really no disputing it.
