He's an animal, the bungees insane live. 5 star prospect, I didn't even know he was Greg Anthony's son. League getting flooded with all these Jr.'s lol. In the next few years y'all going to see a lot of elite prospects coming out of NY.

Expect to see Hamidou Diallo, Mohammed Bamba, Trevon Duval, Nick Richards, and maybe even Shamorie Ponds in the draft next year.

It's not going to happen with Shamorie ( wish it would, but it won't). He's a four year player.

Cole is cold, real explosive, but Ashton Hagans is the best PG in that class.

All this drip on me
Cole Anthony got next.

He's a future NBA 1st rounder.

Scottie Lewis is slept on too. His game is built for open space on the next level.

Shamorie been underrated, surprised a lot of people. I think he can play in the league. :mjcry:

Was you at St. John's when the gawd Dwight Hardy was there?

I'm not hard on NY - NY prospects just seem to never take the next leap/progression when it comes to translating their game into the NBA, like talents from Cali and Chicago for example. Even Jersey is ahead of NY with Kyrie and KAT. Paul George, James Harden, Westbrook, Kawhi, Lillard, Love, and DeRozan are all from Cali. And the likes of Anthony Davis, Wade, and Jabari Parker, Derrick Rose, and Patrick Beverley are from Chicago.

NY players are always being caught up in the streets and trying to be too hard.

Dann. Well said breh. :mjcry:

If this kid can achieve what BX legend, Rod Strickland, achieved - he might end up shinning positive light on NY prospects. But I doubt it. :russ:

BX's son, who's the greatest PG ever out of NY? - Mark Jackson, Rod Strickland, Kenny Smith, or Stephon Marbury? :dame:

HS wise, Kenny Anderson was the greatest. Period? Tiny Archibald had the best NBA career stat wise but Earl "The Pearl" Monroe, Pearl Washington, Lenny Wilkins, Bob Cousy, and the guys you've named were pretty good too. I wouldn't automatically say Tiny was the greatest ever. You'll have debates for days, especially with the OG's. HS/Playground wise: Add Boo Harvey to the list.
Jelly fam is a group of northeast players who are really good. So far the list ( what I know so far) is

1) Isaiah Washington
2)Jahvon Quinerly
3) Sid Wilson
4) Moses brown ( * associates with them)
5) Jordan walker

Jellyfam was created by Isaiah and this kid name Sequan Singleton. They most likely had a falling out, because Isaiah doesn't acknowledge that or him at all, which is corny. The entire jelly style is from Kyrie's playbook.

Isaiah, Jahvon, Ja'Quaye James ( Juelz Santana nephew, this was the kid who always with him back in the day with the bandana and Dipset chain on) Isaiah said him and Ja were the creators, Sid Wilson, Markquis Nowell ( underrated guard), Jordan Walker ( another underrated guard) Louis King, Cole Anthony and Luther Muhammad might be down. Jellyfam is very popular now and brought back NYC/NJ on the forefront again, so who knows who is down but those are the names.

Cole is cold, real explosive, but Ashton Hagans is the best PG in that class.

This is why I rock with you, Poitier. You never jump on the bandwagon. Ashton is the truth, then again you love all your GA kids. Cole got that #1 spot though, but Ashton would be my #2.

Were you a fan of Alterique Gilbert and Kobi Simmons? I'm probably a Gilbert fanboy.

I'm a big Shamorie fan ( :salute:to him and Curtis Samuel from Kingsborough Projects. The only way he's 4 years is if St. John's have the worse record in the Big East, or he suffers from a season-ending injury. Kid could ball.

And like @ISO said, Kyrie is more BX than Jers. His entire game is a mirror from his godfather, Rod Strick, and both him and Kyrie's pops were NYC playground legends. Strick used to always train Kyrie at Gauchos Gym in the BX, and Ky played for that AAU team too. Salute to Kemba Walker too, just because.

I wouldn't protest to hard if people feel Cole is #1....just so explosive. Hagans tho got the vision, strength, size and generally plays with great poise/pace. Elite defender, too.

I am a huge Gilbert fan. Sucks he went to that shyt show and got injured....seems like everyone is transferring

Kobi always struck me as more of an athlete playing basketball than hooper.

Love is actually from Oregon. Just born in Cali. Kind of hard to clump all the guys from the state of California together. Biggest population in the country and one of the largest states. Lillard is North Cali while the rest are from Southern.

Can't forget Seattle either: Isiah Thomas, Avery Bradley, Spencer Hawes, Jamal Crawford, Jason Terry, Marvin Williams, Zach Lavine, Rodney Stuckey. *Bradon Roy would still be in the league and beasting if not for the bad knees.
