He lost a court case , he shouldn't get to wait till the appeals process starts and is finished that's over a year . He really should lose the 6 games and if he wins his appeal get paid back
It's not an appeal. In North Carolina he gets a right to have his case heard by a jury.

From my understanding, he was convicted by a judge, not a jury. He is appealing the verdict through a jury trial.
