I don't understand the point of this. Outside of some incentive for games played, how much can this affect him? All week people were saying that he shouldn't play, but what is the punishment? He should still get paid. The league hasn't suspended him. Teams are making things up as they go along and it is stupid. He is a grown man, being forced to sit out as a professional is not the same as when you make a you make a child sit out of a pop warner football game. The team may avoid a PR hit, but you have no credibility when you say he is going to play and then switch things up when you get too many complaints.
