man, dude's taking a big risk by only taking the one year deal over the multi-year. I guess he really wants to be unrestricted hell or high water.

I'm cool with this. Don't think it was an ideal fit with him and Drummond and didn't really wanna see him stuck on this team at 14+ mil per. Now SVG can really start the rebuild of this tan around Drummond.

Don't think Miami can sign any other big name guys with Bosh maxed out and Dwyane "Allan Houston" Wade taking up the majority of the cap.

I think he'd be a great fit in Minnesota
- but nobody ever willingly goes to Minnesota.
:weirdo: I don't want that p*ssy ass center here and damn sure not at the price he seeks

He's not taking nearly as big of a risk as y'all think.

I told @Brozay and some others in another thread, just look at it like a 1 year deal, the same way guys in any sport do with 1 year deals.

Yea, he can be, if he stays healthy & improves on his jumper. Bledsoe is a mini beast bruh. You dont think so?
He's shown no indication that he's doing EITHER of those things, but you're going to max him out and depend on him to do BOTH?

What do you mean? Depend on him to stay healthy & improve his jumper? Yes if im going to pay him big $$, then i expect him to improve his game. I think he has improved on his jumper.

No, if you pay him big money, based on his career so far, you HOPE he will improve his game and you HOPE he will stay healthy. I've gotta see a lot more from Eric and over a longer, more consistent period of time before I'd ever consider making him a franchise player. But then again, I don't get paid to make them kind of decisions. :yeshrug:

He is still a young player. I mean with any young player you hope they improve on their game & hope they can stay healthy. Also you have to see more from him but he isnt going to be a free agent over that longer period. Maybe he hits the market again but then he will be 30. I mean right now i think he can develop into a star player, maybe a superstar. But like you said i dont get paid to make these kind of decisions.
