Tell me sir what is his offensive skillset:sas2:

Been watching him since his gtown days its not that hard to recognize his offensive skills....very good post game and touch, high iq, good passer out the post, ok mid range, good rebounder...basically a lesser al Jefferson...like I said his upside will make teams budge....but your clearly biased against the man so I'll keep it at that:sas1:

Dumars should've known Monroe needed to go.

He was notorious for holding his cards too long
Shout out to Amir Johnson :sadcam:

Yep. Either that our folding way to early. He was the anti-Kenny Rogers.

He successfully fleeced LA trading Rip Tay and Amir for Kobe, but Kobe said no.

Not saying it didn't happen, but I'm gonna need a link for that 1 breh, cause I don't remember that and I'm pretty good at keeping up with Pistons transactions and almost transactions.

The Original Rec Room Gang
They have Wall at a max, still have Nene for 2 years, and just inked a contract with Gortat

How could they afford Monroe next summer?

They have to pay Beal soon as well, right?

Im guessing he goes to the New York, all the Knicks fans want Gasol, but I see him staying in Memphis or going to the Lakers.
If Ernie Gruns can trade away Gilbert Arenas contract, he can make this happen
I admit it won't be EASY, but Detroit would take Gortat in a heartbeat for Monroe and maybe.. Josh Smith :patrice:
Josh would actually fit into how we play ball in DC :ohhh:

And Gortat already has history with Stan Van :gladbron:

Gortat is a great pick up for anyone, but I dont think he can play the 4 next to Drummond, our front line would be too slow. We would have hella size and prob be a guaranteed playoff team off the size alone, but we would get killed against dudes who are natural 4's or play the 4 off and on. Imagine Gortat having to match up with Bron or Melo or Bosh, even nikkas like Milsap would eat too well.

My Pops Forever RIP
trust me i know hes not that special but this is the nba somebody will throw crazy money at him
PF is a deep position in the NBA. You gotta have an opening to command such money, and the 2015 draft is big heavy.

Monroe better hope some high paid vet PF's begin struggling.

I kinda see Monroe in Atlanta for some reason after next year

Monroe is terrible mid range and he doesn't have above average back to the basket game. He's more of a wheel and deal type of player, but players who thrive at that are usually athletic bigs with quick feet. Which is why he is always falling when tryin to be on the move from the baseline. He is an above avg rebounder and a good passer, but he's soft as charmin and not a difference maker offensively. You need to watch him in the pros not against a bunch of people that are currently working at Home Depot that he played against in college.

Monroe is not a pf and I doubt any team is gonna pay anything near max for a center that can't protect the rim and is horrible defensively. If you attempt to play him at the 4 and he has to guard a player with a jumper or can go off the dribble forget about it.

Exactly. Falk better be marketing him as a center, cause his skills are lacking to play the 4, especially the way most of these teams are trending with the pf position these days, with more shooting and even playing bigger sfs at the 4.

Ok That's your opinion, I'm not denying fam is flawed at all..I've watched him a lot in the pro's his lack of a motor and questionable is a turn off for me..but his attributes are intriguing with the right coaching and situation, his upside will get him paid.....

bruh there is no way you've been watching Monroe and turn around and say he has a very good post game and a ok mid range game, Homie shot 20% outside of 8 feet.
