Fox told him to either take the pay cut or have no job at all :yeshrug:. The market for national announcers is very small and their competitors (ESPN) are cutting people as is. Greg figure that something is better than nothing at all and hopefully he can make that money back over time during another negotiation when his current contract expires.

When's Collinsworth gonna stop blowing every player on the field and walk away so Olsen can get that color commentator spot?
Looks like Collinsworth is signed through the 2025 season, but maybe NBC tells him to scram after this season?

He probably also hopes Brady goes back to playing or is a flop like Montana or Witten

All this Collinsworth slander :scust:

He's a chill, happy-go-lucky announcer (w/ admittedly some golden retriever energy)

His call on Odell's catch was great, he manages to call out things happening on the line better than most and almost has insights as a former WR that extend beyond the typical QB/TE perspectives

Greg Olson put in work for years in the booth.

It's preposterous that Tom Brady could just come in and take the number one spot like that.

This a$$hole hasn't even proved the ability to be any more entertaining or insightful than Eli Manning.

Brady should be sitting next to Eli and Peyton before he ever gets a broadcast job.

Get the fukk outta here.
