There's really a chicken wing shortage out here


I had to resort to buying a bag of frozen wings

Threw a pork butt, wings, Dino Beef Ribs, St Louis cut ribs, beef sausages and hamburgers on the smoker/grill. Sides, Potato salad, mac and cheese, corn on the cob and Cole slaw. If I knew how to upload pics I would but I've hit the ERA

Kingsford charcoal has a LOT of natural flavor. I mean it smells/tastes great but DAMN!
Is there a charcoal that has a more neutral flavor? Or would I have to switch to a propane grill for that?

Use royal oak. KF is trash tbh. Works well in a pinch. You can usually find it on sale or even in gas stations when a store that sells royal oak ain't open.

Cooked some filet mignon on the grill today....5 minutes each side at 450 ....them cuts came out immaculate .....corn and green beans on the side

Anyone got recomends for a good travel grill? I need something small that's good dogs and burgers while at my son's travel baseball games this summer and fall.

Spice mix: Berbere base, add a dash of cumin, a pinch of cayenne pepper, a dash of onion powder, and a few generous pinches of truffle salt. Coat with ghee oil spray and throw on grill.

What do you mean by starter?

You can get a propane grill for 30-60 dollars when grilling season is over. Just look for clearance at walmart/home depot/lowes/ace.

That's how I got my propane. I'm a charcoal or wood user exclusively. But I do blackened steaks and since a propane grill is basically an outdoor stove, when I blacken my steaks I just put my cast iron pan on the propane grill, heat it up with butter and throw the steak in there.

All that smoke just fills up my neighborhood and not my house.

When you say start do you mean price? Or size? Or low/no skill required-- meaning you want something to practice on to get your skills up?
