First of all...I love Griselda. I'm a big fan of their movement, authenticity and their music..Been down since Flygod. SO please don't take this the wrong way but I couldn't stop thinking about this the whole time I watched this performance...

I'm happy to see them shining and hope they continue while still staying true to their sound and style. But I can't lie...this was awkward to watch. They were good but it was the setting and the crowd that made it weird for me. lol.

EDIT: and Fallon saying "W.W.C.D" kind of annoyed me. Worse than when Sway said "What Would Shine Gun Do" :snoop:

Real cats on here know I've been calling this whole movement of rap with substance for almost 3 yrs. Love seeing this.

Only critical thing I'd say is, they need to work on they stage show. Hopefully Busta, black thought or someone like that will mentor them for that.

This is insane:russ::russ::russ::russ::russ::russ:Fire as hell but still all them white people shook:russ::russ::russ:This is kinda why it's good to branch out just a little bit and diversify yourself so you can have emergency songs tucked for situations like this in my opinion :yeshrug:End of the day they still got to perform on a mainstream show that fukkng dope:banderas:
I like this tho breh. This should give them even more incentive to maintain their sound. Taking it back to the days when rappers scared the hell out of white folks

Lol at the comments about white people watching rap performances.

Rap music has been around for a while, I think white people are familiar with it and often big fans. You guys are acting like rappers haven't been making drug songs for at least 30 years. How can it be shocking to anyone in the audience?

It's definitely one of the most underground sounding rap groups to have this much mainstream visibility though. I hope they can keep that going.

Yeah. I mean you’d think this was Johnny Carson or some shyt lol. I would bet that somebody from Fallon’s crowd have at least heard a song from them before, if not they know about them now. How is this different than most rappers that have appeared on Fallon?

:mjlol:I’m happy for them but that shyt was bland as the crowd.

kinda awkward.thats a weird sounding song to perform for people who never heard of u.
Of course it was a bland crowd. It’s a late night show.

Any Griselda song on any late night show would be awkward.

That’s kind of why it’s dope though. Griselda made it all the way to mainstream American late night television without compromising their art or changing anything up.

And props to Fallon for giving Griselda such a big platform. Everyone knew going into this that it was going to be a trippy viewing experience, but it’s still dope to see 3 real emcees spitting full 16s with no hook in 2020 on late night.
