That's the problem with 50 his whole career was built off propaganda, hype & anthems that's why his music sucks now & pretty much the last 10 yrs

Grodt was dope but it's nothing timeless about it

50 beefs with rappers with better music & skill & moguls richer than what is his purpose in hiqp-hop besides propaganda there are no wins for that

He is basically a top 5 character in hip-hop that's pretty much his claim to fame
I think you hit the nail on the head with this:ehh:

If 50 wasn't so hyped about in 03-05 he would probably be making better music. He still uses the same formula in his songs since 03:dead:

Are you retarded? No one still listens to MBDTF? Is that your criteria of why it's not a great album?

And how the fukk doesn't MBDTF sound like hip hop? Oh it doesn't have enough DJ Premier and Black Milk beats? get the fukk out of here

aren't you an ASAP Rocky fan? MBDTF doesn't sound like hip hop but shyt like LSD and ALLA does?

Lmao @ MBDTF being overrated and GRODT not
Breh, GRODT is much better than MTDBF in my humble opinion. Kanyes album is kind of melancholy which requires you to be in a certain mood. 50 gives you more music and doesn't have 8 minute songs that kinda linger. Both dope though

MBDTF and GRODT are both classics ...in terms of soundscape MBDTF will hold up better as time goes on
but GRODT had more impact when it dropped... give credit where credit is due

people who put "period" after their opinions usually are people who have no factual platforms to stand on regarding their opinions

I doubt you even read my entire thread, if you hate The Booth, then get the fukk out already
Breh, don't get offensive, I'm gonna read your argument but you can't be mad at someone who just disagrees with the conclusion you put in the thread title. It honestly seems like blatant trolling. The album is not going to sound any different after people read your argument.

If both those albums dropped the same day. No one would be taking about MBTDF.

The poster didn't do his homework at all and must be a really young guy. It all of that writing no wear did he mention "In Da Club" the fukking song that was LITERALLY played four times in a row throughout the day on radio stations. Oprah Winfrey, the biggest critic of hop hop was dancing to that shyt live on air. I guess next we'll talk Michael Jackson next and just forget to bring up the song "Thriller".

Track masters got so much hate when they were in their prime, kind of how DJ Mustard gets hate now. I kind of understand it because way too often they sampled 80s R&B songs, but still, shyt was golden, to me at least
Nobody knew who Trackmasters were back then. The concept of the producer being famous too is kinda new in hip hop. Nobody knew what TM looked like. They name dropped but nobody but real paid attention
