Yeah that thread was
http://www.thecoli.com/threads/i-think-philly-nikkas-dress-better-than-nyc-nikkas.463769/
3 pages of nikkas arguing about who's the most "fashionable" and freshest, what jeans, sneakers, shades, etc they preferred to wear. Which nikkas in their city dressed the best etc. They sounded like Hilary Banks
What do you expect from the number one troll on this site.
NY nikkas can't dress
they still suck in 08. Swagless as fukk
NY been the flyest nikkas. Their style is underrated.
Philly was rocking pink and girbauds and Ed Hardy before it even caught on.They were doing the gucci and prada hard while other citites were on Karl kani, south pole and pelle pelle. Take that how you wanna. They were flexing on you nikkas before you even knew it.
shyt is so feminineA couple were trolling but the rest were dead serious
They sounded exactly like cats i've encountered offline, who definitely weren't trolling
not be a pessimist, but due to historical/societal factors, i question how feasible large-scale group economics is for black people in america
more likely is, you'll have a greater proportion of individual black success in sectors where blacks are scarce.
the mentality of a lot of black people in america is the embodiment of free-market capitalism... being extremely individualistic, seeing other blacks as nothing more as competition and perceiving successful blacks with disdain. i think we underestimate the amount of black people who read rhetoric like what's in the OP and hit the snooze button. c'est la vie... i will happily eat humble pie if i am wrong![]()
I don't think we necessarily need global or large scale group economics right now. In the past, it has just drawn attention by whites and they shut it down. I believe individual and community growth is better. We need to own those corner stores, laundromats, cleaning companies or other low paying jobs that immigrants gladly take over. We basically need to stabilize our communities via ownership and I feel that's "easier" to accomplish than global group economics.
its sad that its not really a popular topic.
I said this a lot before but don't you think its crazy we have a whole room dedicated to sneakers, jewelery, cars and fashion but there is no room for money, finances and business?
Exactly.People shyt on reddit as a cac site on here but I gotta go there to check for business ideas and discussions.
My friend who was fresh out of jail, started his property management biz by advice and info on a reddit thread, started canvassing estate agents to do their independent inventory assessments and got it popping.
Thats the kind of freeflow of information and ideas we need in here, but not many are interested, such a shame.
I completely agree. But even your community leaders are going to do what's better for business (money) than the individual a lot of times. The more we own, the more we control and that's how we gain the power.its always better to start where it affects us most and that the community once it spread through all communities then it becomes global thats how shyt works best i thought. Like fukk voting for president vote for your local community leaders thats who affect you.

I always see you against economics. If not, what answer do you propose to help solve our problems?
I know we talk about this on The Coli but i think yall would be surprised just how many black ppl don't get what the problem is.
Many think protesting/marching, tweeting white ppl on Twitter, "positive rap music", having a job, etc will improve black ppl's economic condition in the U.S. On here is almost the only place i even see "group economics" or even the word ecnomics brought up at all when our issues are being discussed. It's always some unimportant, irrelevant stuff that will do nothing for black americans situation/state.
