In terms of rapping, hell no. Big L was a lyrical mastermind with an amazing flow.
But, in terms of music, I can see it a bit. L didn't really have much range as an artist and those punchline and shock raps can sound a bit derivative at times. Nonetheless, we didn't really get to see his full potential and songs like Put It On and Ebonics are still classic staples in rap.
