Same thing I’ve been saying. 3 automatic outs at the bottom of the order who basically shave 3 innings off the game for the offense. None of them hit higher than .219 on this team last year and only one of them had even a .280 OBP. 2 of them had an ops in the low to mid 600’s which is where Anthony Rizzo an Alex Verdugo were in 2024. That’s 3 guys who have no business in a major league batting order. You’re not going anywhere with 3 guys in the lineup who hit that badly. They can’t credibly say that winning is a priority when they pencil in these 3 as starters.

When has he ever gotten it? Today he says they don’t have a blank checkbook, yet he’s got $55 million committed to a guy who isn’t on the roster anymore, Trent Grisham, and Ryan McMahon for next season. If you know your boss is giving you a limit to spend at, then why the fukk are you filling the roster with journeymen and guys who suck?
