I wasn't really scared just mad at the time, Felt like life wasn't fair. Was just before i turned 17 and she basically just started cussing me out on the daily telling me to get out so i did.

But before i got kicked out i was already making my own cash. I just didn't know where to go or how to really operate on my own. I was still like a little kid only thing i cared about was clothes and females.

But i was only homeless for a little over 2 months before i stacked enough for an apartment. Had my dad put it in his name.

Damm breh! yall on speakin terms now :ld:

shyt i would have thought my entire life was ruined! I would be thinking damm..what bout college

I had none of these issues growing up, if I did I'd be bitter as hell.

Never wanted for anything, both parents worked, me and all my siblings had new clothes every year for school, always food in the refrigerator, nice dinner every night, nice beds to sleep on in our own rooms, no red or pink mail, never afraid to answer the phone. I had a good childhood.

We are but i don't really like her. I see her when i come around for my lil bro sometimes and thats about it.

I feel like shes just a sorry excuse for a mom and once i leave this city i doubt i'll keep in touch with her. Sounds fukked up cuz thats my mom but i'm a realist. And shes really crazy.

I dropped outta high school shortly after that. I wasn't on track to graduate anyway so i didn't really see a point. At the moment i'm more interested in establishing a good form of residual income. Once i do that then i'll start looking into college. I'm interested in business and i won't be able to utilize a business degree unless i already have some money to invest in myself. Don't wanna go to college just to go like most of these people do.

defenitely not as bad as some of you for sure:huhldup:

but balogna an koolaid held us down something serious.

I still remember that winter when we couldn't get the heat turned on until early december :mjcry:

I remember coming back from school during the holidays and there being no heat and no hot water, my brothers and sisters were taking cold showers in the middle of the winter and boiling water to get ready for school.
I almost fought both my parents for even letting my siblings stay in that condition. I decided to move back to Houston so I could help and keep that shyt from happening.

Tell that to the people in jail or dead from growing up poor

Parents with money can build character and toughness in their child.

Discipline yo kids and don't spoil them. It ain't that hard.

I'm rooting for you.
Don't go just to go.
People are such sheep forced into a state of fear they'll tell you go to institutions without an actual plan, and say it's good advice.

Pressure makes diamonds. Not everyone is a diamond. Pressure ain't for everyone.

Some people learn the hard way, some people don't have to. Some are visual learners while others are not...

You should grasp the point by now. We all can't decide what financial state our parents place us into, so make the best of what you have, learn and APPRECIATE IT. How can we sit here and tell people not to appreciate the lessons that have made them greater versions of themselves?

Thank you.
