Thread already going how I knew it would. People not knowing that just because you didnt hear something being said wherever you from, means everyone must be have been using it when you found out.
Slime been around since early 2000s (I was a teenager in Atlanta and LA)
Gang Gang been around since 2009 maybe (Chicago)

And regular social vernacular pre-dated that. They're all forms of slang.

OP's point is, grown men shouldn't be using slang started by 2000's babies. Are we thinking that the phrase "corny af" was started by someone in their 30's, then?
That was said since the 70’s
