I don't expect her to humble anybody. Just respectfully set the record straight in that circumstance.
For me, and correct me if i'm wrong, "fight for love" tends to mean dealing with undue situations, making overly grand gestures and sacrificies. If a woman doesn't want to be there, don't be there. Don't expect your man to go to hell and back, often times for no good reason other than insecurity.
