I had regular braces from 10 to 15 then invisalign braces. What they don't tell you is that your teeth shift if you don't wear you retainer or lose it. I have a bad overbite. It took one of the other oral surgeons who removed my extra gum to tell us that the orthodontics were gaming us. My bracket would constantly break becuase I had an overbite so everytime i bite down on something I was essentially biting down on my braces. So I was constantly going back to fix a broken bracket or wire.
